🌱 Meet Our Sprout Team

  • Sabrina Foulks-Thomas, RN, CPM, LM, IBCLC, MMCHW, MHA, CPES |Founder and Owner

Direct patient care is deeply important to Sabrina because it allows her to build genuine, trusting relationships with familiesβ€”free from the limitations and bureaucracy of insurance-driven systems. As a midwife, registered nurse, mother of six, and woman of color, she brings a rare and layered understanding of what families truly need during the most formative seasons of life. Her care is shaped not just by clinical training, but by lived experienceβ€”raising children while walking alongside countless families through pregnancy, birth, and beyond.

While there are other direct patient care practices in Wisconsin, Sprouted Bean stands apart. What makes it unique isn’t just the modelβ€”it’s the depth and integration of services within it. From lactation consulting, mental health, and pediatric chiropractic care to speech, occupational therapy, and developmental support, Sprouted Bean is building something expansive yet intimateβ€”a place where families don’t have to piece together care from different corners of the system. It’s all here, under one roof, and it’s all relationship-driven.

This isn’t just a healthcare modelβ€”it’s a movement toward equity, dignity, and whole-family wellness. Sabrina’s work at Sprouted Bean isn’t about fitting into what’s already been doneβ€”it’s about creating what’s long been missing: care that is connected, culturally grounded, and unapologetically rooted in community.

  • Sarah Gallenberg (RN) | Lead Community Care and Family Support Nurse

My name is Sarah Gallenberg, and I am a nurse with a passion for supporting women, children, and families through a more holistic approach to health. After graduating from college with a degree in Exercise Science and feeling unsure of my next step, I began my career as a medical secretary. I eventually landed at the VA Hospital before pursuing nursing school, where I discovered my love for pediatrics, labor and delivery, and postpartum care.

After struggling with my own health challenges and finding no answers through conventional medicine, I turned to functional health. Through targeted nutrition and supplementation, I experienced life-changing improvements, which sparked a deep passion for helping others on their healing journeys.

I am continuing on my own path toward wellness and am dedicated to empowering others through a more natural, whole-body approach to health. I am thrilled to be part of the Sprouted Bean Pediatrics & Wellness family, where I can support patients in achieving lasting, meaningful wellness.

I currently live in Germantown with my husband, our two-year-old daughter, April, and our little dog, Chloe.
